I have washed felties in a small laundry bag (to keep them from being lost in the washing machine!) on cold with regular laundry and have air dried them flat and they came out just fine. I do not recommend washing them several times-just as needed or better yet-spot clean them by hand with cold water. I have put a few felties attached with hot glue on grosgrain covered alligator clips through the washer and dryer when my daughter was little and they did survive but again, I don't recommend doing it very often. They are made of felt which might get fuzzy over time.
