I made this Waldorf inspired mushroom felt toy entirely by hand I hand cut and hand stitched her outside out of natural wool felt. It's held together with cotton thread and Non-toxic fabric glue. I stuffed her with pure corriedale wool.

Tira is just under 3 inches tall.

Why do we say Waldorf inspired? The style and technique of the Shroomper dolls comes from the traditional Waldorf nature dolls. The design and characterization is original and thus the inspired tag. The other side is the philosophy of creative and imaginative play involving natural materials! The Steiner philosophy believes that simple toys made from natural materials are important for the wholesome development of young children. We think so too so Shroomper dolls are intentionally made simple with neutral expressions in order to encourage children to strengthen their own imagination and creativity.

*** Cleaning your felt Shroompers ***
1. Use low stick scotch tape. Just gently press and pull to lift away dust and lint. Usually this is all you need to do to freshen up your little felt friends.

2. If there are still small stains then use a tooth brush to gently brush away any dirt from the surface. Then moisten the toothbrush with water and a mild soap and gently rub away the stain. (if this doesn't remove it don’t keep scrubbing, you might damage the felt).

3. Blot with a soft dry cloth or towel and leave to air dry. do not apply heat.
