Yes! All feathers are naturally molted and collected by hand from our private free flight aviaries. You can be assured that no birds were harmed for their feathers. *This is a concern with commercially available craft feathers.

Is it legal to possess your feathers?

Yes, absolutely. Unlike "found" feathers, you can be assured that our feathers are legal to possess in every way according to US Fish & Game. *This is a concern with "found" feathers, especially feathers from migrating wild birds you may not realize are illegal to sell or own.

The colors are AMAZING! Are your feathers dyed?

Our feathers are naturally supernatural in color. We do not dye, tint, paint or glitter our feathers.

Handmade and Sustainable Upcycled Cashmere Throw Pillow with hexagons and diamonds cut and sewn into geometric pink and black flowers with green leaves on cream ground.
Pillow is backed with deadstock pale blue cotton with pink cabbage rose print with nylon zipper closure.

Pillow Cover is 16”x16” finished.

Recycled Poly Pillow Insert is 18”x18” for a plump, full and comfy cushion.

You may choose Cover Only at checkout if you want to re-use your own insert however be sure your insert is the recommended size of 18"x18" for best fit.

All cashmere is collected, cleaned and cared for in house.

Cashmere is not felted or shrunk. It is stabilized with new cotton backing before being cut and sewn individually right here in California.

Part of a Zero-Waste endeavour, once a pillow is made, the scraps are collected and joined again to make usable fabric, with the smallest bits unwoven, collected and used for another project.

I have a huge collection of cashmere if you want to have your own pillow made or we can collab with your cashmere.
