The Maggio Giugno (May June) necklace by Zillionwaire is the product of two months spent from Atlanta to Italy and back. This geometric chain-link bead-woven creation was made one link at a time, 40 links total, in two of the artist's favorite places to be. This is the only necklace in the collection that has three different color schemes in the chain. Each link takes over an hour to make, if the math and geometry turn out right; this necklace took this working art educator a month of evenings to complete. There are many false starts in bead-weaving geometric shapes that may or may not hold their tension, and those hours are never recorded. Zillionwaire is the passion project of a dedicated artist/teacher/mother who spends hours upon years beadweaving with the tiniest of beads. Kymzilla's passion is to use her eyes and hands while she is still able and to create wearable art that also engages therapeutic qualities: dedication, meditation, consistency and repetition of action and shape. The natural world is full of repetitive geometric shapes, and this line of jewelry celebrates the rhythm of that beauty.
