This listing is for a custom made animal hat of your choosing. You can send me a picture of your pet or tell me a type of animal you would like.

The images in the listing are examples of other animal hats I have made in the past. All of these are sold, but I can make a similar one for you if you wish.

Please allow up to 3 weeks for me to make your hat. If you need it sooner let me know and I may be able to accomodate.

I will send you pictures of the finished hat before I ship it to ensure you are happy with every element of it and will make adjustments if need be.

The hat will be made by needle felting hand-dyed cruelty-free fibers. It may include other elements like handmade glass eyes, a painted clay nose, whiskers, etc.

Needle felting is a labor-intensive process in which the artist stabs loose fiber with a lightly barbed needle until it mattes together into solid felt. The form is gradually built up and then colors and other details are added on in the same manner.

My main goal with my hat series is to revive the everyday wear of exquisite hats and elevate their artistic merit. I make sculptural yet wearable felted hats which appear as abstract forms, figurative creatures, and miniature landscapes, transforming them from accessories into wearable art pieces.
