Kathy's Ultimate Traveling Craft Case/Weekender PDF Pattern

This craft case has everything desirable to carry all the necessary sewing, knitting, embroidery or crafting items along to a convention, workshop, vacation, etc. It's roomy size will hold LOTS of necessities!!! The various pockets can hold all the essentials in place while the roomy interior can hold the project contents. It is large enough to hold several good size project with all the needed notions and tools.

There are variations included that allow the bag maker to pick and choose which will work best for specific craft. The optional pocket on the front of the case is an excellent place to showcase smocking, quilting, embroidery, etc. The pocket is large enough to hold a magazine or class notebook.

The opposite side of the case has an (optional) sleeve that will slide over the trolley handle of luggage or a sewing machine carrying case with an almost hidden iPad pocket that will accommodate the largest size iPad. Possibilities are endless!

The case inside has several pockets for carrying all the essentials. With a little planning, the bag maker can customize these to suit the specific needs & tools that are used. The clear pockets and mesh pockets offer more storage that is readily visible.

Inside the case is a removable pocket page with more storage options. Several pocket pages can be made and will stack on top of each other.

This case will also work fabulously as a weekender or overnight-er travel bag and can hold clothing, jewelry, toiletries, and other essentials. As a bonus, it will fit underneath an airline seat!

Included in the pattern is a simple smocking design, although there are no smocking instructions. Previous knowledge of how to smock is needed to make the smocked pocket option. However, there are plenty of other options for the front pocket if smocking isn't yet in your repertoire.
