This is a custom PC board I made that allows you to use the popular 27C322 EPROMs to refurbish your old SNES games, or put your own homebrew games on original hardware. The 27C322 is a 42-pin device, but the SNES EPROM socket is only 36 pins large. This board is similar to the small adapter boards I offer, but you can use this board without having to remove the original ROM! Just clip the /OE pin on the original ROM and bridge the pin to VCC.

If you want these boards with the 16 Mbit 27C160 EPROMs, please see my other listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/760381682/27c160-to-snes-extended-adapter-board

When put into the board properly, it fits nicely inside the cartridge. Note that it will not fit inside the cartridge with every existing SNES boards, but it will for most. There must be at least approximately 2 centimeters clearance to the top of the cartridge (see picture). In general, if your board only has one EPROM and SRAM chips, or two EPROMs and no SRAM, it should fit ok.

Notes:
You may need to trim back "mousebites" on the PCB to fit the EPROM in the socket (see picture).
Trim the backside pins on any chip that interferes with the board to ensure the adapter board is close to the donor. Try fitting it in the cartridge before soldering to be sure.

Not my first order from this shop just the first one I could leave a proper review for. The owner is very helpful and goes beyond customer support standards in helping. His products are quality and priced fairly. He ships very fast and is quick to respond to questions. Will definitely be buying more from this shop when I run out!

Great design for programming large 42 pin EPROMS. Nick was very helpful with some questions that I had, and his knowledge and skill really show with this adapter.
