Do I see a preview before my custom order it's finished?

Yes, always. Once your portrait is drawn I send you a preview. If something isn't right, the eyes, the coloring, the wording, tell me and I'll change it. Nothing is finished until it looks like them to you. For printed items, nothing goes to print until you've approved the preview.

What if I want changes after I get the final file?

The preview is where we get it right, and I'll keep adjusting until it's what you wanted. Once the final file is sent the work is complete, so I can't remake it from scratch. If something is wrong on your end, a file that won't open or the wrong size, message me and I'll fix it.

Each piece is drawn for one specific pet, so custom orders can't be refunded once the final file is delivered. That's why the preview comes first, and why I revise it until it's right. If you change your mind before I've started, message me within 24 hours and I'll cancel and refund you.

How long does it take?

All printed orders will be processed within our standard 5-7 business days. If you need it SOONER, you can purchase the Rush Order. For digital portraits, your preview usually reaches you within 48 hours, and the final file follows as soon as you approve it. If you're working toward a date, tell me when you order and I'll work to it. Printed items are made and shipped separately, so check the delivery estimate on the listing.

What if my photo isn't very good?

Send it anyway. Blurry, dark, old, taken on a phone in 2011. I work from what you have. Often the only picture someone has of a pet who has passed is not a good one, and that's usually the one that matters most. If I truly can't work with it I'll tell you before I start.

Where do printed items ship from?

Printed items are made and shipped by my print partner, usually from the facility closest to you. Once a printed order is with the carrier the timing is out of my hands, but I won't leave you with it. Message me and I'll help track it down and work out what to do. Digital orders can't go missing, and I keep your file, so I can send it again any time. Digital downloads don't ship, your file comes straight through Etsy.
