Using oil paints, this portrait is hand painted (from your photo) by me in Ohio, USA. Oil paints stand the test of time, and the painting will be a work of art you and your family will treasure for years to come. This makes a beautiful memorial gift too.
ATTACHING YOUR IMAGE(S): Send me a message with your photo through the ‘contact the shop owner’ link (click the teeny tiny image icon to upload). 3 pictures can be sent at one time. You can do this before or after purchase.
DETAILS: I use the technique of layering the paint from thin to thick. No extra charge for additional pets or to develop the background. Note: the more subjects included in the painting, the less of the whole body will be shown. E.g., an 11x14 inch canvas with 4 pets, will show the full head of each.
GALLERY WRAP CANVAS: Stretched canvas is 1.5 inches deep and a frame is not needed. Your painting will be ready to hang.
PROCESSING & SHIPPING TIME: Ready to ship in 5-6 weeks (depending on canvas size). Free Standard Shipping in USA. Before shipping, an image of the finished painting will be sent for your approval.

Such amazing work! This portrait is absolute perfection. I wanted to do something to honor my brother’s dog Briggs, and I thought this would be something he could cherish forever. My brother was THRILLED when I gave it to him. He said that Janet is an amazing artist and was in awww at how beautiful it was. He made several comments on how it looked exactly like Briggs and captured his spirit. Great communication throughout the process, and extremely well packaged for shipping.
