Behind The Scene: "Color Meets Gray"
17 Mile Drive on the Pacific Coast in California is pretty incredible. It's a quite famous scenic road that winds its way through Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula in California. Most of it hugs the Pacific coastline, taking one past famous golf courses, mansions, and scenic attractions including the Lone Cypress, Bird Rock and the 5,300-acre Del Monte Forest of Monterey Cypress trees.
I was mesmerized by the variety of shapes, colors, and textures I found on this evening right before sunset. While everyone else was concentrating on the horizon, I could not get past the combination of vibrant ice plants and colorless rocks.

** ABOUT LUSTER and METALLIC PAPER PRINTS **
I offer professional archival grade Silver Halide photographic prints, so that you receive the longest lasting and highest quality prints available. Silver Halide prints are scratch, water, and fade resistant because the process uses emulsion and silver crystals to embed the image into the paper.
LUSTER PAPER - Classic and beautiful, its colors are rich and life-like with true blacks and pure whites. Luster photo paper is balanced between matte and glossy, and has a fine grain pebble texture.
METALLIC PAPER - This paper has a unique metallic sheen that creates images with exceptional interest, stunning impact, and depth. In addition to delivering rich, vibrant colors, this paper offers century-plus image stability.
PLEASE NOTE: All paper images arrive un-matted and unframed. However, a wide variety of mounting and framing options are available on my website: www.reneesullivan.com

** ABOUT METAL PRINTS **
Metal prints are an exciting high definition display option that transforms images into vibrant works of art. They are extremely durable: scratch, stain and UV resistant, with a waterproof surface that can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
The revolutionary metal printing process infuses the image directly into an 1/8” aluminum sheet of metal giving it an extremely vivid, luminescent 3D appearance that makes the image pop and come to life. The result is truly incredible.
Feel confident that your new and vibrant high-definition artwork will last for years! Sleek and sophisticated metal photo prints need no frame. They are lightweight and arrive ready to hang. Please note that the hanging mounts on the back of metal prints can differ from the examples shown in the listing photo, and may be made of metal or other materials, depending on the lab.
A wide variety of mounting and framing options for metal prints are available on my website: www.reneesullivan.com

** ABOUT CANVAS PRINTS - GALLERY WRAPS and FRAMED CANVAS **
My chosen lab uses only the best museum quality canvas and professional grade, archival inks. The canvas has a built-in coating which makes it moisture and UV protected, and abrasion resistant. Tested by Wilhelm Research, the lightfast, archival inks are designed to last for decades when kept away from direct sunlight.
GICLEE CANVAS GALLERY WRAP - This is a frameless presentation and arrives ready to hang. A gallery wrap is a method of stretching the canvas artwork so that it wraps around the sides of a 1.5" stretcher bar, and is secured to the back of the wooden frame. Canvas Wraps 36" and smaller (on the longest side) will have a thinner wrap.
Mirrored Sides - the outer edge of the image is mirrored on the wrap sides.
GICLEE CANVAS GALLERY WRAP IN A FLOATER FRAME - Your image is stretched on a 3/4" Gallery Wrap, then expertly mounted in a custom 1.5" deep Floater Frame. The canvas appears to “float” inside the frame – with the wrapped edges visible in the gap between the canvas and the frame (see listing photo example).
Take your pick of frame colors – Solid Black, Solid White, or Espresso (dark brown) with an etched wood grain effect. The size you choose will be the outside dimensions of the frame. Your canvas will be sized to fit.
