HANGING
To help hang, find the little loop of twine,
which you might wish to move or remove
if a different direction’d match your groove.
A small nail or upturned peg is the companion of choice
to keep the loop out of sight
and the wreath resting just right.
But, of course, once the wreath is free of me,
you and it must do as you please!
Maybe a table centerpiece or ribboned in the trees?!
To lose the loop, pull on the loose ends.
It will slip easily out, without a doubt.
GIFT WRAP
Gift wrap is expected for these precious wreaths
since each one’s a gift drawn out from the trees.
Every box custom cut to fit its traveler precisely,
and lined with thin paper to wrap the wreath nicely.
The wreath is secured with twine tied in bows.
No need for scissors; pull the end, there it goes!
When the sender desires to add a gift note,
it’s inclosed in a hand-folded origami envelope.
SUSTAINABILITY
Every part of the process from production to package
is decided deliberately for maximum sustainability.
The wreath itself is unaltered organic,
the vine pulled from a place it’d likely wreak havoc.
The box is reused and recyclable,
while Everything Else is biodegradable.
The paper, tag, twine, and even the tape is made from a plant!
(The one thing that’s not is the sticker postage stamp.)
ABOUT . .
TWISTED & FOUND
was founded to offer
WREATHS and CROWNS
transformed from wild woody vines.
Each one is a unique collaboration
between nature and YJB - that’s me.
Wandering the woods, I take note
of the various vines that tendril and twist
up towards the skies.
The vines climb to top even the trees,
(which then topples the trees, you see.)
Sometimes a vine or a few call me to play,
and if it feels a good match, I’ll draw ‘em away,
and together we twirl and we curl
and persist in the twist
and witness what may unfurl -
a wreath or a crown taking form in this world!
“Welcome!” I say. They are happy to be.
Though, they rarely come to stay with me, it seems.
Rather, they seek a new human to delight and befriend.
Is it you? Or, perhaps you know who?!
Well, here they wait, twisted yet bound to be found
and be free, at least of me, in the end.
