Will it look exactly like the photo?

I do my best to make each item look like the photos in the listing. Everything I create is handmade each one will be slightly different. I also try to make each piece better than the last. I incorporate suggestions and feed back from my clients to improve everything I do. I hope that your order is be more attractive and useful than the photos. Also I use pure solid recycled and repurposed copper and materials. Often the copper has unique marks on it. I think this is part of the beauty of the metal.

About processing and shipping times.

If you read my reviews I am very fast in making things and shipping them out. But things can effect how long it takes to make an item. For example, if you order several items, the weather is bad at my shop or I have to order the copper, it might take longer to make and ship your items. If I run into a problem, I will let you know right away and we can figure it out. If you need something by a specific date such as a wedding and normal processing and shipping will get it to arrive just on time, let me know, so I can do my best to make sure there is no delay. I want to make sure all my customers are happy and things sometimes happen, so lets communicate and get you something that you will treasure for ever.

Copper will last a life time. In fact it will last many lifetimes. Copper 's ability to last so long is in part to the patina. This is the change in color of the copper. It protects it and keeps it from safe from the elements. I find most people love that copper will slowly change color over time developing a rich color. Then, some people like it bright and shinny. I use steel wool and vinegar to shine up copper, but there are lots of ways to do it. Google or search youtube for lots of ideas on how to care for copper. One pro tip is NEVER put it in the dishwasher. The chemicals in most dishwasher soaps are toxic and can harm the copper.

Being handmade it is likely it will be a slightly different size than listed. I try to err on the larger size. I generally make bowls and trays a bit larger than ordered. Now, if you need something exactly a specific size, let me know and I can give you a custom quote. If you want mass produced and cloned items order something from China on Amazon. I make hand made items and the beauty is in it uniqueness.

Can I make changes to an order.

Sorry. I can not make changes once I start a project. I wish I could but once I start making it, it is not possible to change it. Once I start cutting the copper and forming it, It is impossible to make it into something else. I also do not accept refunds, cancelations or returns.

Since they are handmade, If I order multiple of an items will they look identical?

Being handmade, each item is unique. I do my best to match multiple of the same items. They will look similar but will not be identical. I give myself a goal to be with in a 1/4 inch on most items and a inch on bowls and trays. If you need precisely matched or sized items, please make a custom order. As the precision increases the time to make things match increases exponentially. I have the ability to make things down to a few 1000ths of in inch. But that can add many hours or even days to the creation of an item.

If copper save to eat with or let children touch?

Copper has been used in home and for cooking for as long 1000s of years. The FDA has approved copper in hospitals for its antibacterial qualities. Copper is used in our homes to pipe the water we drink. Our grandparents and their grandparents cooked with copper pots and served with copper utensils. Acidic foods can react with copper. Etsy does not provide enough space to go into the details about how some foods will react. Please google or contact me if you have a specific question. Or ask your grandparents how they once used and cared for copper in the home.

I make every item by hand and only after an order is made. I sign and date all the items make if there is room on the item for it. I believe each piece I create is art. And as an artist I feel that my signature and date increases its value. As copper will last hundreds if not thousands of years, adding the date made will help those in the future know it age.

Stands 4" tall and it 3" wide. Each one is made to order and crafted in my little shop.

Copper conducts, transfers and focus energy. It was the first metal man learned to form thousands of years ago. Many believe that using copper removes harmful EMF radiation from our environment imparting health benefits.

I only use pure repurposed / recycled solid copper sheets, rods and tubing to create with. I use silver solder and rivets to fasten with. I hand hammer each piece using my grandfathers hammers. I send this to you without any chemical treatment or modern finishing so the natural patina of copper can develop it rich beautiful color. Each piece is unique. The recycle copper I use comes with its own signature of marks and scratches. I remove most of them but leave a few to retain its original identity.

Copper is the traditional gift for a 7th wedding anniversary. Copper will last lifetimes. You will enjoy this for years to come and will pass it on for generation.

I make everything by hand, using 100 year old tools passed down to me and techniques from old. I form copper in my little work shop on top of a hill bending and hammering on an old tree stump.

Rick has made a perfect work of art. I purchased this for an xmas present for my daughter in another state and sent directly to her. We zoomed opening presents and she was ecstatic with the copper crystal charger. She has so many crystals and did not know the properties of copper to recharge them. Rick and I communicated and I felt very comfortable with having him ship it directly to her. Great artist and craftsmanship. Thanks!
