June Bug's Story

On May 4th, 2016 we welcomed our baby girl, June, into our family. To our surprise, she was 10 WEEKS EARLY! After 6 weeks in the NICU we were able to welcome her into our home. While all of this was going on, my mother was recovering from a double mastectomy after a scary breast cancer diagnosis. As a chemo patient, she also had a compromised immune system.

We were diligent about keeping our preemie and my mother healthy. We could not find cute signs to remind guests to wash their hands and remove their shoes, so we made due with plain ol' signs. But now that my daughter is older and made it through her first winter in Wisconsin without getting sick, I decided to create my own germ-free art to share with you.
