SMALL ORDER or ONE ITEM ORDERS

If the shipping amount to your location exceeds the amount charged for shipping at checkout, other First Class USPS services may be used to ship your order. delivery may take a few extra days than quoted at checkout. --->>>(Due to USPS's new shipping increases based on region, some locations such as Alaska, Hawaii, New Mexico, ect.. as well as many other certain rural towns within all US states, have much more expensive rates compared to the average amount to ship Domestic. For this reason I may need to use a lesser expensive shipping method for small, inexpensive orders or alternatively send an extra shipping fee listing to cover the cost of your shipment. Thank you for your understanding as we work to adjust our shop settings.

Will the bead LOOK like the IMAGE shown?

YES, as much as possible. We do our best to make images as true to color & quality as possible. However, colors & finishes may shift slightly for the following reasons: LIGHTING can make the color appear darker or lighter/brighter. Our photography is often done in a bright box with LED lights (meant to imitate natural day light), or outside. The color may look slightly different indoors or in lower lighting conditions. COMPUTER MONITOR settings, can cause hue & color to shift slightly from original image. PRODUCTION LOTS - with 'Cottage Industry' production, Czech glass bead finishes & glass rod material can be slightly different when new production is made. ** Changes to previous colors are within the item details.

Do 2-hole Czech beads get CLOGGED holes?

You may find this in a few beads per pack. Clogged holes do occasionally occur in pressed 2-hole Czech glass beads. This is not a defective package of beads. The Cottage Industry bead pressing process does yield occasional beads with defective holes that can slip through during production. The glass is molten and pressed from glass rods between metal forms the shape & form holes. After cleaning/polishing, beads are then finished. The entire process for one batch of beads, start to finish, can take upwards to 1-3 weeks. You may find occasionally that one of the holes is clogged. Please check all of the holes as you are stringing each 2-hole bead. Checking as you go is common practice among 2-hole beaders & makes for happier beading.

Why are some beads more EXPENSIVE than others?

Czech glass beads are made of a base glass & sometimes one or two glass finishes applied to the base. Cutting or fire polishing processes for certain bead styles can also affect pricing. * The price depends on the base glass (raw material), + the elements/chemicals needed to assist in the finishing process, & any specialty polishing/cutting processes there after. ~ For example some pink glass rods need a certain amount of Gold to achieve the hue of pink within the glass. To the best of my knowledge I will inform you about which beads are solid glass colors & which finishes are on these beads in the details of each item.

Some Czech beads have finishes?

Since certain colors or types of glass are difficult or expensive to produce Czech glass beads are often finished to achieve new looks. Glass finishing processes took hold in a time when the era of costume jewelry began (around the 20’s). Czech glass bead makers have been expanding upon these finishes ever since. *** It is important to note that abrasives & chemicals in perfumes & lotions can cause these finishes to deteriorate quicker. Keep your seed beaded jewelry separate from other jewelry & don’t wear these pieces at times when you may cause damage to these finishes. To the best of my knowledge I inform you about which beads are solid glass colors & which finishes are on these beads in the details of each item.

What is in a COLOR NAME? (Czech beads)

The name represents the glass + finish. ---- ei: Jet RED LUSTER Jet - is referring to the base glass color. RED LUSTER - refers to the finish. ** ** The finish will often change the hue and appearance of base glass. The color you think of when you hear the name, may not represent the actual color of the bead. ei: Jet RED LUSTER is not actually red at all. It is a metallic Green tone. Distributor names may be used for consistency. The true color of the bead is usually best represented by the images of the beads. I try to represent the colors and textures of the glass as true to life as possible. Item details will inform if finish/color changes from a previous batch, & may describe color details beyond the name.

WRONG shipping ADDRESS?

Please message us ASAP if you notice the wrong shipping address was given at checkout. Our processing time is quick & once the item is shipped to the wrong address, there is nothing we can do about it unless the package ends up getting returned (returned to sender). If we receive the package, we are happy to re-ship the package if you are willing to pay the shipping for the 2nd shipment attempt. Please check your Etsy messages, as we do sometimes reach out before shipping when something looks off with the shipping address. At our discretion, we won’t usually wait too long before shipping the order if we don’t hear back from you soon. Our priority is to ship packages out as quickly as we can to the address provided us...see policies

WHEN will I get my order?/ UNDELIVERED

At checkout Etsy gives an estimated break down of arrival window. PLEASE NOTE: This is an estimate based on USPS shipping estimates, which can change depending on region from day to day. I always recommend having 2-3 days buffer incase of delays. If your package tracks as delayed arrival we will need to allow USPS adequate time to make the delivery. INTERNATIONAL shipments can be especially delayed (60 days is preferred wait time.) In the rare occurrence that your package scans as delivered, but you didn’t receive it or if it is significantly delayed you can open an Etsy case. Etsy’s Purchase Protection Program may refund you. I can only work with you for a possible refund for an undelivered package if you paid for insurance at checkout.

Beadalon WildFire Thread - (.006in or .008in diameter) Thermally bonded beading thread - Made in USA - strong - virtually no stretch

YOU CHOOSE:
(COLOR/ THICKNESS) & (LENGTH)

Wildfire ® beading thread features the strength and durability of DandyLine braided thread with a smooth, thermally bonded coating, to create a superior stringing product that is difficult to pierce with a needle. This strong, waterproof, near zero-stretch cord will not fray at the ends like traditional thread can. This makes it easier to thread through a needle. WildFire is also colorfast - the color does not come-off on fingers while working with the thread, like some other cords. WildFire is even a knottable, supple cord great for multi-strand seed bead stringing designs, but mostly used for bead weaving projects. Made in the USA by Beadalon.
