This one of a kind Crossbody Bag was made using an authentic US military duffel bag from approx. 1940-1960. My goal is to bring vintage military duffel bags back to life by making it into a useful, functional item. Keeping as much of the original look as possible, original stitching and fabric repairs have been intentionally left in tact where possible.

This bag shows wear and has a light stenciled military service ID number. The bag is an army green heavy wax canvas with soft brown cowhide leather in a grainy texture. It has 6 1/2" x 4" inside pocket to hold phone and essentials and a brown zipper closure. It is unlined. Leather is locally sourced.

Bag measurements: 9 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" high. The strap is 1/2" wide, 53 1/2" long, and is adjustable. The hardware is antique brass.

Every elbee bag is unique, you will not find another identical. Every military duffel bag is unique in color, wear and tear, and markings. This particular duffel bag is heavy duty, rugged, has great patina, and just a light touch of authentic identification. Made into a fantastic shoulder crossbody bag that could last a life time.
