Lost or delayed packages

I send all my items by Royal Mail and I always receive a proof of postage. I take a photo of each addressed item to be sure that the address was written clearly and correctly. If I have made a mistake or I am unable to show proof of postage, I issue a full refund immediately. If the item is correctly addressed and has not been delivered you can claim compensation from Royal mail. (royalmail.com/claims) Unfortunately delays do happen, especially at Christmas time, and of course currently during the Covid pandemic,but it is rare for packages to get lost completely.

I wear samples of my jewellery every day and I put it through lots of tests. I have found that all sterling silver and silver plated jewellery tarnishes over time. Apparently this is a normal reaction to silver when exposed to the air. Polishing gently with a silver cleaning cloth will restore it. Contact with strong chemicals such as perfumes badly affects most jewellery. Glass beads and some gemstones are delicate and they will crack and break if treated roughly. Showering will have a negative effect on jewellery over time and swimming really does damage metal finishes. Earrings with wrapped wire will trap the water and they are most badly affected. Be careful in saunas as some stones such as hematite become very hot indeed!

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items of jewellery are packed ready to give as a gift. I do offer an additional gift wrap service. I am increasingly aware of how much plastic packaging is wasted, so I save packaging to reuse. If you would be happy to receive a bubble wrap bag that has been used before please let me know. If the jewellery is sent directly as a gift, I am always very happy to handwrite a message.

This lovely lapis lazuli bracelet is made with 4mm navy blue lapis lazuli beads and a rose gold box chain slider. It comes in two sizes. Slider bracelets are so flexible in terms of size they make excellent gifts.

Each bracelet comes in a shiny gift pouch.
