Our Rose lip balm won't color your lips like lipstick, it will leave a sheer pinkish red on your lips that looks and feels fantastic. We also added botanical stevia leaf extract to give a lovely touch of sweetness, make your soft lips kiss-friendly.

The beautiful red color comes from an Asian traditional healing herb called 紫草根 (Chinese alkanet root). In traditional Chinese Medicine, it is used in ointment for treating bug bites, burns, minor wounds and relieving skin irritation, rash and inflammation. Oil or ointment made with it is an emollient that is soothing and softening to the skin as well. The 紫草根 (Chinese alkanet root) I used was purchased from licensed Traditional Chinese Herbal shop and was infused in extra virgin olive oil for more than two years the benefits of the herb are highly extracted.
