All Items in our store are created by us in our humble little home in Humble, TX. These lamp bases are fashioned from auto wheel parts and while all similar, they are not exactly alike. If, however, a pair is ordered, they will match. These bases are 10" to 12" in diameter, between 2" and 3" tall, and weigh approximately 14 to 20 LBs each. They have been cleaned and come with an optional Gloss, or Matte clear finish, or with no finish at all. If purchased with the bare metal finish, it is recommended that a finish of some type be applied soon because a humid environment can cause rust to form rather quickly. There are options for three sizes of pipe, 1/2", 3/4" and 1". Other sizes can be requested and a price quoted. A cavity for wire connections is provided with a cover plate. A hole is provided from the wire connection cavity for a safe pathway for the plug cord to exit the base through the cooling fins of the wheel part. All of these described features can be seen in the photographs. The cord pictured is for demonstration only and NOT for sale. If you need any modifications, for example, maybe a different size pipe attachment, please don't hesitate to inquire. Quantity discounts apply when buying in multiples of two, and due to USPS Flat Rate shipping, we can ship two for the same price as one. These bases can also be used for flag poles and other things. For those who have purchased these from us before, I am truly regretful for our recent price increase. We have not increased the prices of this item for the many years that we have offered it. Unfortunately due to tariffs and shipping price changes we have been forced to do so, and yes many of the tariffs have been rebated back to the manufacturers but most corporations have decided not to pass those rebates down to their customers.
