We've walked our farmers' organic farms and touched the cinnamon trees and say with confidence you'll notice the difference in quality and taste when you buy organic Ceylon from us. Ceylon sticks are graded based on quality and the tightness of the quills, we only carry the highest grade, Alba.
It tastes like a cinnamon candy, with both sweet and hot tones and a floral bouquet that opens up when you cook. This special gourmet cinnamon will transform your desserts and dishes.
True Ceylon cinnamon powder can also be made from various grades of quills and pieces, which is why you can see variation in prices and quality. H1 and H2 are the highest quality of true cinnamon, and we only source powder from H1 Ceylon cinnamon quills, the highest grade.
We have walked these organic spice farms with our farmers in Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon, which is where the name Ceylon cinnamon comes from), and are very proud of it. We think you'll love it too.
It's important to note that Ceylon cinnamon is very different than the cinnamon most Americans are used to. We also offer two other varieties of high quality cinnamon, Vietnamese cinnamon and Cassia cinnamon. Cassia is the cinnamon most Americans can identify growing up with.
