I recommend you do not wear your hand stamped items in the shower or in water excessively because the patina inside the letters may start to wear out of the indentations after prolonged exposure to water.
The metals I typically work with are sterling silver, aluminum, copper, brass, pewter and stainless steel. Aluminum will not tarnish and it is considered hypoallergenic. Aluminum is very lightweight and ideal for stamping. Please note that copper, brass, gold, and sterling silver tend to oxidize/tarnish over time and can be easily cleaned with a jewelry polishing cloth when needed. Pewter tends to naturally darken over time, giving it a more antique appearance.

A patina is used to darken the stamped letters. Over time and with prolonged wear this may start to fade. Please see "How do I care for my jewelry" in FAQ. For a quick, at home fix you can use a black marker to color in the letters and then wipe the jewelry with rubbing alcohol. This will wipe the marker off the surface but will leave the stamped areas black. Please contact me with any questions related to this.

My current processing time is 2 weeks for hand stamped items and up to 8 weeks for dried flower and cremation items. This is the time it will take me to create your jewelry. It does not include shipping time. The delivery time will depend on the shipping method you chose at checkout.
PLEASE SEND YOUR ASHES OR FLOWERS WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF PLACING YOUR ORDER. IF I DO NOT RECEIVE THEM IN A TIMELY MANNER YOUR ORDER MAY BE CANCELLED. If you do not send your ashes or flowers within Etsy's set refund window timeframe, our shop will not be able to issue a refund for your purchase.

With personalized jewelry it is VERY IMPORTANT that you double and triple check that you enter the correct spelling of the names or words that you want stamped onto your jewelry. I will stamp EXACTLY what is typed in at checkout so please make sure it is correct. No returns or refunds will be given for items that are stamped exactly as ordered. If, however, I make a mistake then I will take full ownership and a refund or exchange will be given.

There are a variety of ways to dry your petals. The most important is that your flowers are COMPLETELY DRY before I create your keepsake pieces. You can air dry them. Please remove petals from the flower to allow them to dry faster. Then, place them on a paper towel. This process takes the longest. Please allow a couple weeks for them to dry completely. Drying this way can sometimes discolor the petals. Another way to dry your flowers is to cover them in silica powder as this aids in drying. This can be found at several crafting stores. This drying process takes a few days up to a week but also helps preserve the bright colors as the petals dry faster. You can always search the internet for other recommended ways to dry your flowers.

Because these are all bespoke items, I cannot issue refunds under any circumstances. However, in the case of any issues with your order, please let me know right away and I will do everything in my power to make it right. My number one priority is to make sure you are happy with your jewelry. If a replacement item is decided upon between the customer and myself, then the original item will need to be returned to Soul Impressions before the replacement process begins.

I recommend placing your dried petals between paper towels instead of in a plastic bag. If, for some reason, they are not fully dry they could mold during transit if in a plastic bag. Please mail petals as opposed to a full flower. You can mail them in a box or a padded envelope. Any packaging really is fine. Don't worry about them getting smashed or breaking apart as I always use small pieces for your jewelry.
*If your flowers are not fully dry when I receive them, a $10 drying fee will be billed and will need to be paid before I proceed with your order. This drying process costs my shop extra money and extra time. For these reasons, a fee will be charged.

These pieces are considered waterproof, but I do not recommend wearing them in chlorinated pools or salt water, or exposing them to chemicals (particularly cleaning supplies) or hand sanitizer. Please remove your jewelry before doing any of these things.

Please be aware that all resin has the tendency to yellow over time. Please be advised of this and know that prolonged direct sunlight, UV lights, and cigarette smoke could speed this process. Yellowing will not likely be a problem with your jewelry, but it should be mentioned as these are made with an epoxy resin mix.

As stated above, gold, gold filled, sterling silver, brass, and copper, all have a tendency to oxidize over time. A jewelry polishing cloth can be used to remove tarnish.

With normal wear, these pieces should last a very long time if you follow the recommended care as stated in my shop.

The aluminum cuff bracelets and rings should be gently placed on and off the wrist and finger. With a lot of tugging, these can break. I am not responsible for improper care of your aluminum rings or bracelets.

If the blackening of any of your hand stamped items wears off, I will blacken them for the life of the product. Customer will only pay shipping costs.
