Jane Austen (1775 - 1817) is a cornerstone of english literature and a keen observer of human nature. Her writing is often as relevant today as it ever was and we observe that the stories of life in Georgian times are often not so different from modern times. I decided, without hesitation that Miss Austen would be the first in my series of Literary Threads embroidery patterns for 2020.
