Give your baby bees what they need and keep them from drying out in the fridge.

Now stackable! The mid-section can be stacked to accommodate many more cocoons.

If you harvest your mason bee cocoons you may want to store them in the fridge before it's time to release them into the wild.

By design most refrigerators are dry, too try for mason bee cocoons. In order to keep them hydrated a humidity chamber is needed. This specially designed hydration chamber will keep your baby bees safe and keep them from emerging before its too early.

To use: fill bottom chamber with water, the sponge will help keep the water in place and provide moisture. The middle chamber homes the baby bee cocoons and the loose-fitting lid keeps them safe while allowing needed airflow.

Dimensions are roughly 6 inches diameter by 2.5 inches tall. Each chamber is just over 1" tall.

Color will vary depending on stock, if there is a specific color you want send us a message letting us know.

Please also note that due to material availability. The all natural cellulose wood pulp sponge might come in half rounds instead of donut shape. It will still have the same function but will look slightly different from some of these photos.

We have been raising Mason Bees for the past 5 years, with more and more cocoons every year. We wanted to find something to store our bees without being overcrowded, well ventilated, and good humidity (always seemed to have a few moldy cocoons by Spring). I found this storage chamber by chance and it's working great so far. Ordered it on a Sunday and received it on Friday. It fits nicely in our outside refrigerator, and being stackable is such a plus. We also ordered the humidity meter which will help us know how well our bees are doing during their hibernation.
