How much crushed opal do I need?

1 gram (~1/4 teaspoon) crushed opal will typically make at least two ring inlays.

What size crushed opal is recommended?

Fine crushed opal (.5mm-1.5mm) is great for filling small crevices that perhaps the medium size did not cover thoroughly. Medium crushed opal (2mm) is best of both for all purpose excellent for center channel inlay ring inlays and an all-around good size for small crafts, wood and resin work. Large crushed opal (2mm-3mm) is best for larger woodworking projects as well as arts & crafts. Many makers prefer the larger chunks as they can crush smaller as needed.

Does shipping include tracking?

Yes, all shipments include postage tracking usually through USPS or UPS except when order value is less than $10.

Is it difficult to make a diy ring if new to ring making?

Not difficult using ring blanks ready to fill inlay materials for do it yourself custom rings. Also, I am available for any questions or ring making instructions.
