Do you offer refunds under any circumstances?

There are no refunds on digital or custom items. If an item breaks in shipment, we have insured its value up to $100 and claims can be submitted to USPS online.

What if my item is returned to the sender/seller after it's shipped?

If a customer's order is returned to the sender/seller for any reason, the customer is responsible for paying for re-shipment.

Do you send photos before you ship items?

Due to the high volume of orders that we create and ship every day, we are unable to send photos or create mock-ups before production and shipment. We do sometimes share sneak peeks of customer items at instagram.com/housesparrownesting.

What if my package is delayed/lost in transit or stolen?

House Sparrow Fine Nesting is not liable for packages that are delayed in transit, lost by the shipping carrier, or stolen—all circumstances which are beyond our control. Once we hand your item over to the shipping carrier it is their responsibility to deliver the item. Please contact the shipping carrier directly regarding delays or lost packages. If you suspect mail theft you can obtain the GPS coordinates of the last scan point from the shipping carrier and file a mail theft report with your local police department.

What if I don't respond to your requests for photos for custom items?

If we do not get a response on our requests for the images we use to create custom orders, we will wait for a maximum of 2 weeks before we must cancel the order. We need to adhere to shop deadlines to remain in good standing on Etsy and can not hold orders beyond a certain date. If you order a custom item based on a photo with us, watch your Etsy messages!

My order did not reach me on time. Can I return it?

Sometimes there are delays in transit times across all of our shipping carriers, and these will increase in the holiday season. We cannot guarantee that a shipment will arrive by a specific date, even if the tracking provides an estimated delivery date. We have had cases where a shipment is significantly delayed and shows as unscanned even if it was shipped. Therefore, we cannot refund or cancel orders if they did not reach you on time but were shipped on time. If your order did not reach you on time, please contact us and the shipping carrier.

We loved loved this kit. Natasha has thought out everything needed for this project, and everything was beautifully packed. The instructions were clear, and the project was totally fun. Everything turned out beautiful. We can't wait to do more indigo dyeing, and try some ice dyeing.

While I haven't tried it out yet, I'm so impressed with everything included in the kit. I was even planning on making my own resist boards but, lo and behold, a pair was included! The kit was beautifully packaged and makes me eager to start dying. A note on the shipping: My kit was shipped almost immediately after I ordered it so I'm reluctant to give this part only 3 stars. The problem was with the USPS, which delayed delivery by several days. Natasha's customer service and communication were SO good, though, that I didn't even mind the delay.
