Reinforced gauntlets appeared at the beginning of the 14th century and by 1350 had become extremely popular in the armor sets of various estates. Replacing chainmail gauntlets, they become the obligatory equipment of every knight.

Like all the armor we make, these gloves are designed primarily for protecting hands during fencing and have practical applications.

Material: hardened high-carbon steel.
Thickness is 1 mm.
Weight approximately (1,7 kilo for the pair in steel). Exact size depends on customer measurements.

Inside the suede glove, which prevents slipping.
Two rondels with leather mounts are also included in the set, which provides additional protection and a more authentic look. We highly recommend you use them. Wrist gloves extend to the forearm, so they will be conveniently combined with any bracer.

On the inside, the glove is slightly divided for easy donning. But since it is hardened steel, this place does not bend and holds its shape perfectly, like the whole glove.
