Kevin the Koala crochet pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial on how to crochet this adorable koala. You will need to know basic crochet and amigurumi skills such as: how to make an invisible single crochet decrease, a magic circle, and how crochet in the round.
Size: You can use any worsted weight yarn you would like but if you use my recommended yarn and hook size your Kevin the Koala should be about 8.5" tall.
You will need:
- 3.25 mm crochet hook
- Yarn of choice in gray - I recommend a worsted weight yarn and personally use Hikoo Cobasi + in Gun Metal Grey #037 but you may use any worsted weight brand of yarn you would like!
- Fluffy/Fuzzy yarn of choice in white or cream - I recommend using Yarn Bee's Fur the Moment in Cream but you can use any sort of fluffy/fuzzy yarn you would like as long as it's a bulky-super bulky weight
- Small amount of black worsted weight yarn for the nose and embroidering the facial features
- yarn needle
- 1 pair of 12mm safety eyes
- stuffing
- sewing pins
- scissors
{Optional} - Eucalyptus Leaves
- 2.00mm crochet hook
- Yarn of choice in green - I used Paintbox Yarn Cotton DK in Lime Green, you could instead make these leaves using a worsted weight yarn in green and a 3.25mm hook as well though (as long as you don't mind leaves that are slightly bigger than mine).
