Highlights

Used by the Native Americans for centuries, Western Soapberry (Sapindus Sapinaria var. drumondii) contains high levels of the compound “saponin”. It was used not only for soap, but the seeds were often sewn into necklaces.

This tough guy thrives in a variety of conditions from arid, to humid - and has a surprisingly high cold tolerance.

Use sand paper or a file to scarify the seed followed by a soak for 24 hours. This seed was ethically collected in Central TX on a ranch near Waco, TX.

Shipped fast, seeds look beautiful but they weren't labeled which isn't an issue for me since they are the only ones I purchased and are unique looking so they're easy to identify. No instructions either but there's so much information online so I'll figure it out.

Although I purchased them a while back, I just started using them. They leave the laundry clean with a neutral smell. The only drawback was probably my own fault as I put them in just one bag (2 were shipped) and the ties came loose during the first wash. Everything works great after I put them back in the first bag, tied it, and put that bag into the second bag and tied it again.
