The combination of the two most important solar animal indicates the overall favorable nature of the creature — Griffin represents the Sun, strength, vigilance, justice.

This was love at first sight. Gryphons are my favorite mythical beasts, and Scythian culture and artifacts have always fascinated me. How wonderful to be able to combine my love of gryphons with my pride in my family's Ukrainian ancestry. My grandniece is in love with it, too, so we have a family heirloom in the making!
