Do you accept returns or cancellations?

Yes we accept both returns and cancellations. You may cancel your order within 4 hours of purchasing. For returns you have 2 days upon delivery to contact me for a refund minus shipping and handling, plus a 35% restocking fee. Returns for Artwork on Gallery (1½" depth) and Museum (2½" depth) Canvases will be subject to a 50% restocking and artist fee. Commissions, custom, customized or personalized orders, international and framing orders are nonrefundable.

What is the process for paintings made to order?

Original paintings are handpainted to order - I will send you a message letting you know I recieved your order and give you a time frame for me to complete your artwork - Most paintings take 6-7 days for me to handpaint, large canvases 24"+ may take up to 2 weeks - Once completed I will notify you and message you pictures of your painting for your approval - When I receive your approval I will apply 2-3 coats of gloss or matte varnish to your painting, depending on the piece - Varnish takes 36-48 hrs to cure - I will then carefully package your painting for shipping - Once shipped you will receive a tracking number - Shipping times are 2-7 days for US and 2-3 weeks for International - Enjoy your beautiful work of art!!!

How do I contact you for a painting customization or to commission a painting?

Contact me on Etsy through my store or email StephanieFisherArt@gmail.com. i usually get back within 24 hours.

StephanieFisherArt offers a 100% shipping guarantee for all paintings bought through my store! For any reason your painting is damaged in shipping I will repair or replace at NO cost to you! Even though I offer Free Shipping, I take pride in packing and shipping your fine art purchase safely and securely to ensure it's arrival to you in perfect condition.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! I ship anywhere worldwide! Though I do ask my international customers to message me before purchasing to ensure an exact shipping price. As Etsy does not allow me to list different shipping costs for the multiple sized canvases. How it works: •Message or email me what painting, canvas size and canvas depth you would like. As well as the city and county it'll be shipped to. •I will message you the price including shipping and approx. how long it will take for you to receive your artwork. •I'll send an Etsy message that contains the order and simply follow the prompts.

What's the difference between Studio, Gallery and Museum stretched canvases?

Studio Canvases have a ¾" depth and are stretched with a medium weight canvas on a standard frame. Gallery Canvases have a 1½" depth and are stretched with premium canvas on a medium duty frame. Museum Canvases feature a 2½" depth and are stretched with fine grade Belgium linen on heavy duty or aluminum frame. (Museum Canvases are available by request only). Main differences between Studio, Gallery and Museum canvases are the quality, longevity, weight and thickness of the wood and fabric. The thicker the frame the more depth you will have and the bigger impact your painting will have. All canvases are "gallery wrapped" meaning the canvas/linen is stretched lightly and wraps around the sides of the frame and stapled/splined to the back.

Can I order custom canvas sizes?

Yes! You can request a custom size for any painting we sell that isn't a one of a kind piece. We have canvas sizes available from 8x8" to 60x72". If you want a multiple canvas painting we go from 3" canvases on up. You may also request to have any painting created on a Gallery Canvas (1½" depth), or Museum Canvas (2⅜" depth) additional charges will apply. We try to accommodate for a variety of canvas sizes, if you are a looking for a custom canvas that is not standard sizing. Are paintings currently in stock or handpainted per order?

Almost all of my paintings listed on Etsy are handpainted to order, though some paintings are currently in stock. Please read the description as I will state whether it's handpainted to order or in stock

Is ALL your artwork handpainted?

YES, All artwork I sell is personally handpainted by me! I sell original and one of a kind pieces. Original paintings are offered in multiple sizes to best fit your needs and decor. Since I handpaint all the artwork slight variations in brushstrokes and color can vary per piece but will nearly identical. I always message pics of your painting for approval prior to varnishing & shipping. Keep in mind its the differences that make your painting unique, special and gives each piece its own character!

What is a rolled canvas painting?

Easiest way to explain a rolled canvas is to think of a painting without the wood framing. It's done on the same canvas but isnt stretched or mounted to a wood frame or back. Rolled Canvases are easily framed with premade store bought frames by just adding some foam or cardboard backing. Benefits of buying a rolled canvas painting is it's price. Making fine art paintings more affordable to everyone. Rolled canvases are much easier to ship, which also helps keep down the cost. I only offer a few paintings done in rolled canvas

What kind of Varnish do you use? Removable vs. Permanent

I use a museum grade removable varnish on ALL my paintings!!! Removable has many benefits over permanent. In case of smoke damage, staining, dirt, time etc. the top varnish layer can be removed. Which allows the original beautiful and vibrant colors to come back and shine like it freshly painted. 100s of years can pass by and painting would do keep it's vibrancy. Removable varnish takes alot more work and is more costly which is why some artists choose permanent.

How can I order a painting with a Gallery Canvas (1½" depth) or Museum Canvas (2½" depth")?

Gallery and Museum Canvases are by request only. Simiply message me on Etsy or email at StephanieFisherArt@gmail.com letting me know what canvas and size you would like for what painting. I will then add the canvas you requested to the listing under Select Canvas Size. Then just add it to your cart! Please note additional charges will apply for Gallery and Museum Canvases.

What is the Fine Art difference?

We only paint with fine art materials (i.e. not craft or student grade paint). Fine art paint is very expensive, musemum archival quality and will not fade or discolor for many decades if not hundreds of years. Fine art paint color is brighter and more saturated making it really pop off the canvas and pleasing to the eye and bringing life to the paintings subject. I use a museum grade varnish on ALL my paintings which will protect them from and giving them a beautiful gloss finish (for more about varnish check out my FAQs)

Do you stretch your own canvases?

I prefer to stretch my own canvas, doing so 60-70% of the time. Hand stretching my own canvases has countless benefits. I love being able control the quality of what canvas or linen I use (or more importantly don't use). Just as important is the type of stretcher bar/ frame I use and the way in which i stretch and staple canvas. I like a drum tight canvas that will stay taught, and unfortunately most pre stretched canvases are notorious for being really saggy as well as giving your painting ghost lines When I do buy pre-stretched canvases it's only from professional retailers.

Original Handpainted Red Rose Fine Art Painting was painted with professional artist acrylics on a studio/gallery canvas. Unlike most red rose paintings you'll see I chose to paint this rose at an extreme side angle, which really shows off the contrast of it's petals. The contrast between the dark shadows and bright orangey red highlights makes for a eye popping painting.
Studio (3/4" depth) and Gallery (1 1/2" depth) Canvases available in 9x12", 11x14", 12x16", 14x18". 16x20", 18x24", 24x30", 24x36", 30x40" and 36x48" sizes .

This painting is made to order please allow 5-7 days for me to handpaint your artwork. Larger paintibg 24"+ may take up to 2 weeks. After completed I will message you photos of your painting for your approval. 2-3 coats of gloss varnish will be applied and cured 24-36 hours before I will carefully package your art for shipping. Once shipped you will receive a tracking number
