CANADIAN ORDER SHIPPING - READ THIS!!

We're in YVR but because we're close to the border between Canada and the USA, we can take advantage of USPS's more reasonable postage rates and save YOU money. What this means is that our standard shipping method for Canadian orders is USPS First Class Mail International. This keeps the costs down BUT the trade off is that shipping times can take UP to 8 weeks with covid, and tracking stops updating once the package has left the USA so you wont receive further tracking updates until it arrives at your door. If you would like to pay the more expensive Canada Post rates for us to ship via Expedited (1-7 days within Canada) we can, just send us a msg and we'll get a quote. In some listings we offer the ability to upgrade during checkout.

USA orders ship out of Blaine, WA via USPS first class mail (2-10 days). We are in Vancouver, Canada and we use a courier that drives over the border allowing us to ship from the states so that you get your order faster and can take advantage of the USPS rates which are far more reasonable than Canada Post. We offer the ability to upgrade to USPS Priority 1-3 Days during checkout- if you're on a tight deadline we highly recommend upgrading to USPS Priority. THE REMOVAL OF THE DEMINIMIS EXEMPTION HAS HEAVILY IMPACTED US AND SOME PACKAGES END UP DELAYED AND REROUTED. THIS IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL SO PLEASE ANTICIPATE THE POSSIBILITY OF DELAYS. All our items are handmade in Canada and CUSMA compliant so you won't pay any tariffs.

INTERNATIONAL ORDER SHIPPING - READ THIS!!

Shipping times vary. Each country has different customs/duty policies/requirements and different processing speeds. It is up to the buyer to be aware of the possible customs/duty fees that may be applied when importing goods into their country. Packages come with tracking but it's up to the recipient's country's mail system to decide whether they will use those tracking numbers. This means that tracking may not update after it leaves the USA. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO WAIT THE FULL RANGE OF TIME STATED ON THE SHIPPING TIME PREDICTION

PRODUCTION TIME - how long does it take to make my order?

Our production is between 1-5 business days. We tend to ship orders out on Wednesdays so if you order on Tuesday it’ll be closer to 1 business day, and if you order on Wednesday it’ll be closer to 5 business days. This isn’t a hard & fast rule. If you need your order in a rush, please send us a message.

I'm having trouble fitting the hardware on my furniture, help!

We provide the dimensions of the pulls and the hardware they come in each listing. SCREW IS TOO LONG: you’ll need to either buy shorter screws (at your local hardware store, usually they’re a few cents per screw), cut the existing ones, or use washers to shorten the length. SCREW IS TOO SHORT: you’ll need to buy longer screws. HOLE IS TOO SMALL: you'll need a 1/4" drill bit to enlarge the hole. Every furniture & cabinetry manufacturer has different thicknesses they use for their drawer and cabinet fronts. There is no ‘standardized’ size, and we aren’t able to stock the huge range of screws required to match the thickness of your particular unit. We use M4 threaded chicago screws that can accomodate a range of 3/4" to 1-1/4" thickness

WILL THESE PULLS FIT ON MY IKEA FURNITURE?

Please be aware that our pulls are neither explicitly nor exclusively made for IKEA, and IKEA actually has different thicknesses throughout all their different lines. “HEMNES” isn’t the same thickness as “DUKTIG”, and so on. So the short answer is, that yes, the pulls will work with IKEA furniture, but the screw length may or may not work depending on what particular line/model from IKEA you have. We use M4 threaded chicago screws that can accommodate a range of 3/4" to 1-1/4" thickness as we've found that to be the most common range but ultimately if they are too long or too short you’ll need to use the length of screws that fit your piece of furniture. This is an easy fix, you can either use washers or buy new ones (usually a few cents).

Will the color look like the photo?

Product shots are shot in studio with studio lighting or lifestyle shots (of our products in use) are shot in daylight. Due to the differences in screens and monitors and the fact that leather is a natural material, colors may vary slightly from what you see on your screen and from hide to hide. Some leathers have more variance from hide to hide than others so it's best to place a whole order at once or you risk the possibility of them not matching when ordered separately. We do our best to cut from the same area of the hide for each order to ensure consistency. Note that LATTE is our most inconsistent color with extreme tonal variance between hides, and even on the different parts of the same hide!

Where's my order? You shipped it XX ago and it's not here!? (COVID-19)

We do our best to inform our customers before they place orders about shipping times, and we also include this information in your order confirmation email we send you and the shipping notification email we send you. Please understand once we mail something we have no more control over it than you do, and we have no further info than the tracking number we have already shared with you. Delays due to covid, civil unrest, and operational/human resources problems within the postal services of the USA and international destinations are completely out of our control. We appreciate how frustrating this is - we're frustrated too! We want you to get your order as soon as possible and we cross all our fingers and toes in the hopes that it will.

These are great for all sorts of projects!

FOR LEATHERWORK: they're fantastic for adding extra security to rivets, snaps and eyelets (if you are setting them into a thinner leather, just use a leather washer to ensure they last and don't rip through the thinner leather).

FOR FURNITURE HARDWARE / DRAWER PULLS/ DRAWER HANDLES: They're great for serving as spacers for our leather drawer pulls and leather handles for your furniture, Use them to shorten the gap between your screw and the piece of furniture, or as an added security measure to keep your handles from spinning if you want them to stay in one place.

FOR BICYCLES: They're often used by bikers to silence rattling and dampen vibrations. They can go in a lot of different places on a bike - for example between the fender and fork crown, the seat stay bridge, the chain stay bridge, and even between the fender and the fender racks. They can reduce the likelihood of stress cracks on aluminum fenders and reduce noise from debris bouncing into the fenders.

They're made using our leather scraps from other projects so you can be assured that we are using quality full grain leather, usually ranging in 4oz-9oz thickness.
