Custom made pet portrait painting, 8X10, crafted with gouache on hot pressed watercolor paper for a smooth finish. It is based off of a real photo of your pet, with a unique painterly style. I love to push the lighting and color to make the painting come to life.

This example is from a customer of my modern pet portrait who requested no outline for her Miniature Goldendoodle, Maisey. Starting with a quick sketch, I mark out the feature qualities of the pet, and bring it to life with the beautiful colors gouache can make. I can't wait to bring out the beauty of your unique and loved pet!

My sister very suddenly and unexpectedly lost her beloved pup and best friend, Sophie, about 2 weeks before Christmas. I knew it would be difficult to find anyone to be able to turn around a hand-painted portrait of Sophie so close to the holidays, but I decided to give it a shot. Mollie responded so quickly with “I’m going to make this happen for your family.” I couldn’t believe it! Mollie worked with me to really understand who Sophie was and to capture all her little quirks. She took several images and married them to make the perfect portrait. When my sister opened the portrait, we ALL immediately started crying. It meant so much to not only my sister but to our entire family to have this beautiful reminder of our Sophie girl. Mollie, I truly can’t thank you enough for all of the thought & love you put into this portrait!

This came out sooooo well! Thank you so much, Mollie! She hand draws the portrait, which is exactly what I wanted. And she did it within the week of the gift-giving date, because another digital portrait I had gotten through Etsy didn't turn out the way I wanted it. Also, I gave a custom picture where I edited two pictures of my dog together, and she was able to draw her likeness exactly how I wanted it! I'm so happy with the outcome and so are the recipients!
