Ceramic stoneware gravy boat pitcher with Australian flannel flower design. Made by me using slab building techniques.

Functional good pouring pitcher.

Capacity: 450ml

It is glazed in my glossy bright glazes developed by me and unique to DMPottery. All glazes are food safe.

The flannel flower pattern you can see under the glaze is a vintage design taken from an Australian Federation (c1915) pane of textured window glass. Typical of the era, the Australian native flannel flower has been depicted in flowing lines. I reproduce this precious heritage pattern in a range of my work.

This vase is fired to stoneware temperature and is non-porous, chip resistant, and of course, water-tight.

These are delicate, interesting porcelain candle holders. (Perfect for a tea light candle.) The light through them is soft and shows the beautiful Flannel Flower patterns. I love these three candle containers for my meditation and yoga space. Many thanks for your original work.

I LOVE this modern handcrafted vase, with a beautiful heritage association... Bought it as a gift to myself - a memento after the sale of our family home of 67 years; a 1912 weatherboard cottage.
