Vintage leo necklace

Beautiful brass vintage leo necklace. Made in the 1970s. Charm is large and measures approximately 1 inch across and 1 1/4 inch high. I put the sweet pendant on a great 14 karat gold filled adjustable rectangular chain measuring 18 inches long. This piece is a showstopper. The vintage charm with the modern chain look amazing together. I sell these in Los Angeles at many of my vintage shows and they are super popular with the hipsters!! There is also a story behind these pieces. I live in Los Angeles and 20 years ago I helped gather some vintage jewelry for the movie ALMOST FAMOUS. After ALMOST FAMOUS, the costume designer put one of my pieces on Tea Leone in the movie FAMILY MAN. This necklace garnered so much attention. That particular piece is the colored glass zodiac that you can find in my listings. Tea wore the light blue Pisces fish. After the movie, I ended up partnering with the award-winning costume designer and created the company Betsy & Julie. We started selling vintage zodiac necklaces online and to lots of amazing boutiques throughout the United States. Cut to today where I have expanded my line and I am still selling vintage zodiac jewelry to movies and tv shows here in Los Angeles as well as amazing customers worldwide who appreciate our unique pieces.
