PAPILLON ART PRINT, Giclee Art Print, from Original Watercolor Painting. When is a dog a butterfly? When it is a Papillon with large, fringed ears that flutter in the wind like the wings of a butterfly. My model was my very own Papillon, Julienne, on a breezy day. Let this little butterfly fly into your home!
THE PAPILLON
Papillon is the French word for butterfly, and this breed's large, erect, fringed ears do resemble the wings of a butterfly. With its silky coat and plumed tail, it makes an elegant picture. Papillons are the most intelligent of the Toy Breeds, highly trainable and eager to please. Quick, curious and friendly, it is impossible not to love this darling dog.
ABOUT MY FUR BABIES PRINTS
All my prints are high-quality Giclee prints that are nearly indistinguishable from my original watercolor art. Printed on Epson Somerset Velvet paper, a premium archival paper.
WHAT IS A GICLÉE ? (pronounced zhee- clay) AND WHY IS IT MORE COSTLY?
Giclee is a process for fine art reproduction using a very high-quality ink jet printer with hair-thin nozzles capable of high resolution, fade-resistant archival pigment inks (not dyes) and archival paper. This ensures that your prints will never fade, degrade or yellow over time. I choose a professional printer for my Giclee prints and your heirloom art. This process can NOT be duplicated with home/office scanners and printers, such as are sold by others on Etsy.
DIMENSIONS
Image is 8" high x 10" wide plus a border all around to allow for future matting and framing as desired. I also offer a 5 x 7" Giclee on archival matte, (no border) sized to slip into an easel-back picture frame, suitable for desk, shelf, tabletop, etc.
PURCHASES/ SHIPPING
FREE shipping to the United States. Payment is accepted through Etsy Payments.
I mail all prints promptly and with great care. Prints are mailed in protective sleeves and backing boards in the mailer to ensure they are not bent.
RETURN POLICY
If, for any reason, the print does not meet your expectations you may return it for a full refund in its original packaging for a full refund minus shipping costs.
