- We always try to start work on orders as soon as we can, so please be aware that we may not be able to cancel or make changes to your order once it has been placed - please contact us via Etsy conversations ASAP if you have any questions.

Our personalised gifts are wrapped in tissue paper, paper roll, corrugated card and a brown cardboard postal box. We do not buy in any plastic packaging.
Our gift boxes are 100% recyclable and use no glue or tape. Our gift bags are handmade from 100% cotton.
To reduce our environmental impact we use paper tape to seal the parcel, and as little plastic backed tape as possible.
Also, we will always try to reuse packaging materials sent to us by our suppliers, as long as it is clean and fit for purpose.

Yes! Please get in touch via Etsy with any special requests - all our engraving and pyrography work is carried out by hand using traditional methods (not a laser, computer or sandblaster in sight!) so we love doing special orders using your own ideas and designs - just let us know what you would like and we will build you a custom order for your unique piece.
We can usually add a simple motif like a love heart, simple animal design, or some flowers or stars - just contact us via Etsy.
We can also copy a loved ones handwriting onto most items - please contact us for a quote.
We have engraved company logos, simple designs and many other bespoke customisations - send us a conversation via Etsy and we will be very happy to help you!

Customers receiving our gifts through the post should take the necessary care when opening to prevent injury to themselves or others from the enclosed item - an example of this is (but is not limited to) glass that may have become broken in transit.   All our gifts should be treated with due care & attention when being used, carried or displayed, as we cannot accept responsibility or liability if a gift causes injury/damage to a person or property through improper use or sufficient care not being taken.  Please also be advised that any claims made against Cove Calligraphy Ltd can be brought only through a UK court system & administered/settled only by UK law.

All our personalisation work is done by hand, and we have designed our own beautiful freehand cursive font that works well on all our items - this font can be seen in the photographs within the listing. We reserve the right to adjust the size of the letters, flourishes etc. to fit on each individual item as we see fit at the time of engraving.
We can also copy a loved ones handwriting - please contact us for more details.

Our FREE UK shipping is EVRI Next Day which is a fully tracked service (please see EVRI postcode exceptions below).
USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING TIMES
We use EVRI overseas service (unless Evri will not deliver to your address) - overseas shipping times can vary, and tracking is passed to the receiving countries courier service at customs. Please allow for delays at overseas Customs.

We use EVRI Next Day service to deliver your parcels - there are certain postcodes that EVRI are not able to offer a next day service to, and their current published list is shown below. If you live in one of these postcodes we will post your parcel using Royal Mail 1st Class - please note this is NOT a tracked servce.
