It is not recomended to wash the buckwheat stuffing because it dries for a very long time and may deflate in volume. Soaking buckwheat hulls dirrectly into water may ruin them. There may come a time when your pillow needs to be cleaned. Buckwheat pillows can last for a long time, and during those years your pillow may get dirty. Accidents, illnesses and general wear happen. If it comes to that the pillow should be disasembled and the casing should be washed separately. Buckwheat hulls have to be put in the sun to dy.
The best recomendation would be to use a pillow case for the buckwheat filled pillows to avoid the pillow itself getting dirty.

Looks and feel great! It's double-wrapped in fabric which was a nice surprise so the buckwheat is safe inside!
