As a raging feminist (Smith College Grad), RBG is my hero. I first painted this image on a ceramic platter, as a gift for a neighbor. I think the notion of RBG, the top woman in our justice system, on something as common, but necessary, and oh so indicative of women's work throughout history, as a dish towel is just a hoot. I hoped to capture her I DISSENT stare in this portrait.

I am proud to share $1 of each RBG Tea towel sold to our local Woman's Crisis Center. In the last 6 months, I was able to send them over $2300

Printed on 100% cotton flour sack tea towel using environmentally gentle, water based inks. 28 inches square Size may vary slightly due to the nature of flour sack towels.

All of my tea towels are printed using my original illustrations originally painted on ceramic. While I use a paintbrush for the original illustration, I have developed a painting technique that is reminiscent of pencil drawings.

I sent it as a gift. The recipient LOVED it! I had received one also; the only drawback is that it really wrinkled in the dryer. That is obviously to be expected, since it is 100% cotton. I probably could have avoided the wrinkles by letting it air-dry. Fun gift!
