As a professional marbler, I've tried every source I could find for Carrageenan. Everything was inferior quality or cost too much. Sometimes both! Eventually I reached out to a leading algin (seaweed) supplier and explained my problems. They helped science-up the specifications, and now it is made-to-order in big batches. It is thick, reliable, yields great results and... is affordable! I hope you love it as much as I do.

- Green Packaging! Our re-sealable packages are now 100% bio-degradable and made from 40% recycled paper (25% post-consumer). A little puff of seaweed dust may occasionally escape, but we feel that's a fair trade-off knowing our packaging can compost. We hope you'll agree :) For 1lbs and under. I am so impressed with Bitsy the seller! The marbling powder was carefully packaged, and included detailed instructions and Pro’s Tips. A nice surprise was the sample of marbled paper. I will be ordering Bitsy products in the future. Highly recommend Etsy and particularly Bitsy!!
Interesting product! Feels slimy on hands which I guess is normal for carrageenan. Use gloves!
I haven’t used it yet as we recently moved and my craft room is totally in boxes except for this product, but I’m ready as soon as I get set up!
