I've been selling vintage for about 20 years -- I started on Ebay way back in 1999 -- and only recently made my life easier with a cohesive listing and inventory system.

Hope it's as useful for you as it has been for me.


HOW TO USE THIS PAGE

Once I've completed a listing, I jot down the item and all the relevant deets on the sheet.

Each sheet has room for 20 items per printed page and you can note the COG (cost of goods, what you paid), your listing price, date listed, and where you're storing it (I have my shelving units labeled with letters and each of its shelves has a number, so the location A2 means first shelving unit, second shelf, etc). When an item sells, mark the date, selling price, if price is decreased, note if it was a sale or an offer.

The sheet lives in my small business binder/planner and lets me see how quickly different types of items sell to identify trends and niches to focus on. I can also track if a sale or offer was used, as well as quickly finding the thing to ship once it sells (a real plus when you've got hundreds of items to hunt through).

Personally, I'm using it for new listings and as a productivity tool to keep me on track and listing daily -- I can see in black and white how many listings I complete each day.


PRINTING INFO:

The file you receive includes one page with the header "Ebay Listed Inventory" and 2 pages without headers and room for 22 items. I print out one of the first one, then set the printer just to print pages 2-3.

For best results, print with "normal" print quality and at "actual size" rather than "fit to page."
