PAINTINGS MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

My paintings and my collages are coated with varnish to protect the colors for extended time and to ensure durability and protection against changes in room temperature and dust. All the framed originals are ready to hang. To keep the paintings from discoloring and fading, avoid displaying them in places that are exposed to direct sunlight, high humidity and extreme temperatures.

ORIGINAL ILLUSRATIONS AND PRINTS MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

The giclees and the prints are not varnished. The original illustrations are not varnished cause of alcohol makers with red colors. The brush and varnish cause damage to the color. To keep the illustrations from discoloring and fading, I recommend placing them in glass picture frames to preserve the colors. Do not expose your illustration to direct sunlight, high humidity and extreme temperatures.

WHAT IS A GICLEE PRINT ?

Digital printing becomes a giclee print ( or a fine art print ) when it differs from a mechanical reproduction in large quantities. • It is created and often printed by the artist. • It is printed in a limited edition of 15 or 30 copies to preserve its status of "work of art". • It is composed of inks and 100% acid-free papers such as Epson, Halnemühle, Arches ... for a long life in glass picture frames.
