The listed size in the title is the size of the OUTSIDE dimensions of the mat - in other words, it is the size frame you need. Backing is also included so all you need is a frame and corresponding glass or other glazing. For the larger unsigned posters, those are unmatted but backing is included.

Do you have larger sizes?

I am often asked about larger sizes and - Yes, I do larger prints. All of the prints I offer are from previously sold paintings. How large depends on the quality of the file that I use to print (which is, sometimes dependent on what camera I used to take the document photo) so...I do need a size that you need the image to be, taking into account that it will need to have a mat made. All of the larger giclees are made at an offsite giclee printing house, and are drop-shipped to you from there via UPS ground. They are UNMATTED with a 1" border for attaching matting. Once I have the size image you need, then I need a list from you of about 6 or so possibilities and I will let you know how many of them can be printed the size you require.

Can I get a custom vertical giclee from a horizontal image?

I recommend that you keep the orientation the same (if it's a vertical print, don't ask for a horizontal enlargement, don't ask for a vertical from a horizontal, etc...) and generally speaking, the 16x20 matted prints are going to be large enough files to print larger, with some limits, but it truly does depend on each individual file.

Do you do combined shipping?

YES - there is an additional dollar added for each additional item in an order - not multiple shipping charges. HOWEVER....if you place separate orders, a shipping charge gets assessed for each order. I do TRY to catch those when I see that happen, but sometimes I don't catch it. If I do, I will refund the shipping less the dollar charge for the additional item.

Each print is signed and titled on the matte, and dated with the year the original painting was done on the reverse. Each print includes foamcore backing, mounted print, matte and is individually bagged in acetate. The mattes I use are all white – white reflects color from surrounding objects, so no matter where you hang this print or want to move it around your home, the matte will pick up reflected color from the room! Plus, it really makes the color in the prints pop. This print will be made specifically for you!

This print is reproduced from an original painting by me, Jan Schmuckal. It is printed in-house on lovely, Epson Watercolor paper. I experimented with many different papers before I settled on this one:
