In this book, with 88 pages and over 20 patterns, you will find a variety of great projects including a shawl, baby blanket, slippers, socks, mittens, hats, scarf, purses, other fashion accessories, home décor, toys, etc. The pictures above are some of the projects included.
Through the project variety, you can also expand your knowledge of the many uses of your frame knitter (knitting boards, looms, rakes) through fun projects. For example, if you want to learn to knit in the round , consider making Socks, Mittens, or your own Bear Buddies. Want to try your hand at using multiple colors, check out the Gingham Baby Afghan. Interested in lace knitting, try the Agape Shawl or Let’s Eat Placemats and Napkin Rings! If felting is grabbing you attention, then the Felted Book Covers, Cell Phone Holder, or the Entwined Purse and Checkbook Cover might be a good place to start. Each pattern is written in easy to understand instructions with no acronyms to remember. All the knit stitches and techniques that are used in each pattern are explained in the Knitting Techniques section of the book.
The title implies this book can be used for knitting boards, knitting looms, and knitting rakes. This is true but not every pattern can be used on every device. All the patterns can be used on the Noble Knitters and our line of Oak Knitting Boards (provided you are using one with enough pegs). One consideration for using the patterns on other knitting frames is whether the project is double sided. If so, then you will need a knitting board. If it is knitted in the round (ex. socks), you will need a knitting board capable of knitting in the round (such as our Noble Knitters or Oak Knitting Boards ) or a loom with the correct number of pegs. For single sided knitting, you could use a loom or rake (or just one side of a knitting board). Then as long as you have enough pegs with similar peg spacing, you’re ready.

This book offers a way to work with single and double rack designs, that are designed to be used with several loom styles, not necessarily the only created by the author and shown in tar book. Although, that is the set that I own and have loved for nearly 20 years. This replaces my well-loved copy.
