This is a classic 1960s design in 14k white gold with three sweet and sparkly diamonds. In the 1960s, it became popular for women to have just the one wedding band and/or an engagement ring worn separately. The curve of the band and the Florentine finish (crosshatch engraving) give the ring personality and keeps it from being boring. It is a very low profile, sitting almost flat to the hand. This will be pretty on its own and lovely with a thin gold band stacked on each side.
This white gold diamond band is in excellent vintage condition. There are NO signs of damage or repair. All of the stones are present, with NO damage, and secure in their prongs. The metal shows minute amounts of surface wear, but this is minimal and does not detract from the vintage beauty. The inside of the band is marked ‘14k’.
This vintage diamond band is a SIZE 5.5 on the mandrel, but because it is wide, it feels more like a SIZE 5 on the finger. Your jeweler should be able to size it up at least one size, but sizing it down without it showing the sizing mark will be difficult with the thicker shank. The three little diamonds are apx. 1.25mm each. The top of the band is apx. 8.86mm wide (North to South) and tapers to apx. 3.39mm at the back of the band.
This wide gold band will come in a kraft ring box with a description card. It will ship via USPS First Class Mail insured.
