I do not accept responsibility for items returned by Royal Mail upon receipt of their advice that the package had an incomplete/incorrect address (supplied by the buyer). Please ensure you include a current, full and recognisable address with all necessary fields completed to avoid your order being returned to sender. Items returned to sender will only be re-posted with a complete address (at cost to buyer).

During busy times such as Christmas, parcels can be delayed due to Royal Mail receiving large volumes of mail. Please check with your local sorting office in the first instance using the tracking number provided in the Etsy dispatch notification. Personalised goods will not be replaced and resent as each item is handmade to order. They will only be resent once they have been returned to sender by Royal Mail and reason for return identified.

If Royal Mail Special Delivery is not showing as an upgrade in the item listing that you wish to purchase, please send Laney's Lettering a message to request if this can be added to the listing. Special Delivery is typically only used by this shop to guarantee a timeframe for delivery/to meet a deadline. It is not used as a next day postage service - items are handmade in this shop and therefore ample processing time is required by the maker before dispatch.

Buyers are responsible for sharing personalised information within 48 hours of placing an order to ensure delivery times are not adversely affected. Similarly, once an order is placed, change requests must be approved by the shop owner and can't be guaranteed if the product is already in production. It is the responsibility of the customer to check personalised products upon receipt of the items. As specified in the product descriptions, items are written or printed exactly as requested using the information supplied to the shop. On the rare occasion that an item differs from the personalised information provided, please contact the shop within 24 hours of receipt for a replacement. The shop does not offer proof reading services.

For orders received where the quantity changes due to the quantity of personalised information received, the customer will be refunded the difference within 10 working days post order receipt. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure personalised information quantities sent to the shop owner match the quantity for orders placed. For example, if 200 place cards are ordered but only 198 names sent to the shop owner then the buyer will be refunded the cost of 2 place cards within 10 working days post order receipt or two blank place cards may be supplied in lieu of a refund.
