YARN: The bag looks great in any yarn weight, be it superbulky, bulky, 2-4 strands of light/medium weight yarn, polyester cord (3-5mm) or macramé rope (3-5mm).

I used 14oz (400g) – 240 yards (220m) of yarn ).
I worked with 4 strands of sport weight yarn held together (2 blue and 2 grey) and needed 960 yards (880m) all in all. This is a great stash-buster project!

CROCHET HOOK: 6 mm (US J/10; UK 4) or similar to work comfortably with your choice of yarn.
