My items are all sent in reused envelopes. Your order is wrapped in branded repurposed paper and sealed with a sticker or washi tape. It may be wrapped in a small piece of bubble wrap depending on the item. I include minimal packaging in order to reduce waste and offer my items at a more affordable price.

Most items are hand cut, filed, and sanded. Please allow a few millimeters of difference due to the handmade nature. Items that are heavily hammered or stamped can also spread out in size. If you need an item to be an exact size please message me prior to ordering!

On January 1, 2019, Germany’s Packaging Act (VerpackG) came into effect, imposing requirements on online retailers (including Etsy shops) selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes the recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap).

Uncommon Spirit Co is registered with LUCID, which is the Packaging Register of the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR).

Producers/distributors pay a license fee to the dual system for the collection, sorting and recycling of the packaging they introduced to the market. My Dual System partner is Activate by Reclay

Many items are shipped using letter mail - this means they are NOT tracked, and are not insured for loss or if they are unable to be delivered.

If your item includes tracking, a tracking number will be sent to you through Etsy.

Items are shipped to the address that is default in your Etsy account, once an item is shipped I have no control over it and cannot change the address. Please check this before you place your order or message me immediately after!

Large Items that have "free shipping" are shipped using a service level and courier of my choosing.

Many items are non-refundable, non-exchangeable due to the custom stamping. I do not double-check spelling - your item will be stamped exactly as you input into the personalization box. Please double check spelling, punctuation, your address, etc.

Please contact me if you are unsatisfied with your order! I will accept returns on anything that is not customized. Buyer pays shipping fee back, and the return will be processed when the item arrives, in re-sellable condition.

Each item is handmade by me, using my hands and various tools. This means each item is completely unique and will have imperfections. Even multiple orders of the same item will not look identical. Any items with a smooth (raw) metal finish do scratch easily and they will be visible.

An insurance claim will be submitted. Once the claim is approved and refunded, I will message you to let you know how we can proceed.

Refunds will not be processed until they are processed from the insurance claim, this can take approximately 1 month or longer, I do not have control over this process.

Orders that are deemed undeliverable due to incorrect addresses get automatically returned at my expense (Canada) or sent to a warehouse to be destroyed or shipped back to me at a cost (USA). These orders are non-refundable. Please make sure your address is correct on your order, once shipped I cannot change the address and for US orders the items will be thrown out by my shipping courier if they cannot be delivered.

All vintage are final sale. They are in AS-IS condition, I try my best to show the full item in the photos. I do not accept returns, refunds or exchanges.
