Okay, I'm convinced, cats will chase just about anything attached to the end of a string!!
My cat Phoenix, keeps me company while I make various leather items for my shop. One evening, Phoenix looked and me and said, "Gunther, why don't you make cat toys out of that 3-4 ounce vegetable tanned leather over there?!" Much to my surprise, it was a great idea! After a few prototypes, we can up with this squid tassel looking thing, attached to 1.8mm braided nylon cord, the kind used for blinds/shades. We fastened the 22"+ long string, to a 18" birch wooden dowel and topped each end with vinyl caps. The result is a dye free, leather cat toy, that should last for quite a long time!

This was a repeat purchase of this great wand and lure that is one of my cat’s very favorite. I had asked if the seller could customize it with a longer string and he was very nice and did so. This is a great wand and lure for my cat who likes a lure he can really “kill” and carry off. He is not the most graceful of hunters and this one he can successfully snag mid air proudly! Highly recommend this sellers products, they are really well made and are cat safe. Customer service is amazing and they ship super fast. My cat loves them.
This is a great wand and lure teaser. My cats love this lure. They are rather timid with lures on the end of string wands but they took to this one right away. It moves well and they have a great time catching it and attempting to carry it off! The seller was very responsive to my questions and super helpful. It shipped right away and arrived quickly. It is very well made and I am guessing will stand up to many years of strenuous kitty play. My cats give it paws up.
