Trataka is a form of meditation where the practitioner focuses on a single point — commonly a candle flame — to harness focus & awareness on the present moment. This ancient practice is traditionally used to support a calm, clear mind & invite a sense of presence & stillness.
Our Trataka Candle is handmade with ghee — clarified cow's milk butter. In Ayurveda & Hinduism, a ghee candle is the preferred candle for puja, or sacred ceremony. Ghee is considered sattvic in nature, drawing in harmonious frequencies to calm the body, mind & spirit. ✨

I love this ghee candle, and it makes great for travel. I have a morning meditation time and light this candle and look at it. I appreciate how it calms my eyes as I begin my day on the computer. I keep coming back for these magical candles.
