I use good quality clay and I fire my ceramics at high temperature to make sure they are as strong as possible. However handmade ceramic pieces are fragile by nature so please handle them with care. High fired ceramics are microwave and dishwasher safe but I recommend hand washing them with warm water and soap to maintain them in their best condition.

What are your return policies?

If for any reason you want to return an item please contact me first and I will be happy to refund the price of the item upon receiving it in good condition. I do not, however, refund the shipping costs. Buyer is responsible for the return shipment cost and customs if applied. Due to Greek law regulations every package sent from a country outside the European Union is eligible to go through customs control and be charged an extra fee in order to be received. Please send the item back in its original packaging and with the original labels on the box as a return. Once I have received the item from you, unused and undamaged, you will receive a refund of the cost of the order, minus the shipping cost and minus the customs clearance cost.

How do I return a product?

If you have to return an order, the item must arrive in perfect condition, unused and undamaged, so make sure to safely package the item similar to the way you received it and try to use the same package it was delivered in and write "return to sender" on it - ask your postman/woman for details because they may have an official sticker to place on the package that could be a tracking number. It is best to use registered mail with a tracking number for a safer delivery. We will not be responsible if we don't receive your package.

What happens if I receive my order damaged?

If you find your order damaged upon delivery I will happily replace it with a new one. Please contact me within 24 hours from delivery and send me a photo of the broken item and its packaging.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duty fees, VATs and/or import taxes that may apply in their country to receive their order. Every country has different rules and thresholds for import. If you have concerns about this you must consult the regulations in your country prior to your purchase. Such fees are never included in the purchase price, and are entirely the responsibility of the buyer. I will not reimburse for the payment of any customs fees, duties, VATs, and/or import taxes. Shipments within the EU are not subject to custom fees. As far as I know buyers in the US very rarely have to pay custom fees as the threshold for imports is quite high (around 800$).

Unclaimed/Refused packages

If a package is unclaimed or refused by the buyer and returns to me, I will refund the order minus the original shipping costs, any customs fees that I have to pay to get the package back and a small restocking fee. When I see that a package is at your post office awaiting for pick-up or redelivery, I usually notify you through Etsy messages and email, so please keep checking those to make sure that you will not miss a notice.

What is your default shipping method?

I ship worldwide mostly via the Hellenic Postal Service "ELTA", using registered mail with a tracking number. Registered mail needs to be signed for, so if you are not home, a delivery notification may be left for you to pick up your order from the post office. You will receive your tracking number in the shipping notification, so keep an eye on your emails. Also, I cannot be responsible for delays that may occur by the shipping carrier due to weather conditions, strikes, covid-19, etc. Approximate standard shipping times are as follows: -GREECE 2-5 business days -USA 6-15 business days -EUROPE 3-10 business days -CANADA 10-30 business days -AUSTRALIA 8-21 business days -EVERYWHERE ELSE 9-25 business days

What happens if I'm not home when the postman/woman comes to deliver my package?

I send registered mail so if you are not home when the postman/woman delivers your package a notice is left for you to go pick up your package from the post office or to reschedule delivery. If you do not reschedule delivery or go to pick up your package from the post office, in the stated on the notice time, the package is then returned to me automatically. If an unclaimed package returns to me in the condition I sent it I will happily re-ship it to you after you pay for the new shipping cost which will be added to my shop as a new listing. If you wish to have a refund that will be calculated minus the new shipping cost, customs cost and packaging cost. I will not be responsible if I don't receive your package.

Handmade ceramic teapot in a modern design. The teapot was created on a pottery wheel and glazed with a playful blue glaze.

The color of the teapot turns out different every time (as shown in the photos) so I always send photos of the final product before shipping it. Please keep checking your messages and email for updates if you purchase one of these teapots.

Not suitable for heating on the stove top. Sudden changes of temperature could harm the ceramics.

Every piece is glazed and fired at 1240°C, for extra strength and durability.

Small differences in sizes, shapes and colors between the items may occur as they are all 100% handmade by me.

Each ceramic product is formed individually by hand without using any molds and therefore have its own individual character, shape and imperfections.

All ceramic materials are lead free and food safe.

Care instructions:
-All handmade pieces in my shop are made with stoneware clay and fired at 1240 celsius degrees, which means that they are durable enough to go to the dishwasher machine. However, I do no recommend it, because a strong detergent could harm the glaze on the plates over time.
Hand washing is generally more friendly to handmade ceramic objects.
-Unglazed clay surface is not porous but it is recommended not to have frequent contact with liquids such as oil or wine, because they can leave a permanent light stain on the surface of the clay.
-It is also suggested that ceramic everyday objects (plates, bowls and cups) are not to be left with substances such as vinegar and lemon for long periods of time because this may lead to color alterations.
-Avoid extreme and sudden temperature changes as it is likely to cause thermal shock to the pieces.

All items are very well packed in bubble wrap and packing peanuts, inside a cardboard box to arrive safely to you.

All shipments are done with Hellenic Post and the national postal operator in your country. This is the method that guarantees the best price and quality ratio.
As I am a small producer I don't have a big stock of items. I aim to post in-stock orders within 1-3 working days. Small custom made orders are usually ready within 3-4 weeks.
