How do you manage custom tailored garments from afar?

I design with an easy sizing experience in mind, strategically balancing my designs to ensure a stress free, painless experience, and a flattering comfortable fit. With body measurements and few photos of the person I am able to create a well fitting garment, made specifically for you. Instead of fitting you inside a pre-conceived size, I fit the dress around you! So much better. A standard size is just a set of measurements in to which we are made to fit. By swapping those with your ACTUAL measurements, the result is much more accurate, flattering and comfortable. Standard sizing for ready to wear is also available however. How does sizing work?

Wedding dresses, unless they are one of a kind or samples, are all made to measure.This means I cannot make the dress until I have your accurate measurements and photos of you. I will email you a list of measurements I need to make your dress. For ready to wear, I can work with generic sizes but if you prefer a custom fit, you can simply provide the measurements needed, and I will cut it proportioned for you. If you can’t send me the measurements for whatever reason, choose the size closest to your body, and include a picture of yourself. Pictures help me proportion things well and are very useful! If you cannot or do not wish to send me measurements, here is my standard size chart. BRIDAL: how far from my wedding should I order my dress and how long will it take?

For a custom made wedding dress it is ideal to order about 3-4 months before the wedding. I can work with less time, up to a minimum of 4 weeks. Rush orders are available but fees may be involved, so do inquire before hand. To optimise my time, I organise my work around the wedding dates, not the dates of order. I will need to know the exact date of your wedding and will deliver your dress with about 4 weeks advance minimum, often more. If you feel more comfortable with more time, just let me know and I will work my schedule around that. I usually also have a selection of sample or one of a kind dresses in a few sizes that can be shipped out immediately provided that they fit you.

And how long does it take for ready to wear?

All custom ready to wear garments will typically be made and shipped within 10 workdays. Everything ships expedite so you would typically receive your garment within 10 workdays from date of order. Do inquire about rush order options.

Can I customise or alter any of your designs?

Yes! I love custom work and love to mix and match elements of my designs, so ask away! I do not do copies of other people’s designs, but feel free to send me reference images as inspiration as well. There is no fee involved, the price will be calculated as for all my designs, based on material and complexity and time involved in the making of it.

Can you help me with alterations?

Sometimes it is best to have certain things done locally (perfecting the length of a dress, shortening a strap, etc), but I am always available for advice and am willing to do alterations on your Larimeloom garment, usually free of charge, provided you pay for shipping back and forth. The best thing is to get in touch so we can discuss the issue.

Sometimes, there is nothing as elegant as simplicity. This wedding dress outfit has it all: it’s comfy, leaving you utter freedom of movement. It is romantic, with is sweet neckline, the soft, flowing skirt, and the delicate floral waist accent. It’s refined, made of pure, high quality silk, perfectly cut to effortlessly flatter the body without over-designing.

The Iberis bridal separates is composed of three pieces:
- The Zenobia V-neck silk top (available with a rounded neckline as well) .
- The Anemone silk chiffon skirt - The ethereal lace Daffodil sash.

The top is made of two layers of pure silk crepe de chine, cut at a hip length that makes it easy to wear after the wedding, styled for every-day wear. It has super fine spaghetti straps and a soft, flattering drape.

The skirt has a flat silk Dupion waistband and it closes with a zipper up the center back. It is made of three layers, and it has a flow and movement that is hypnotic.

The sash is made with a lovely flower lace, and it closes with a soft ivory chiffon bow at the small of your back. The ties of the bow are long and pointed, falling down the skirt and blending gracefully with the folds.
It can be styled with other sashes from our accessories collection, and it also stands alone very well, with just the smooth silk waistband accenting the waist

• MATERIALS & CARE: 
100% silk skirt and top. High quality english lace sash with 100% silk chiffon ties Dry clean or hand wash. Iron with a lot of steam and on a medium setting. Please test on an inner part of the garment.

• MEASUREMENTS: 
The dress is entirely custom made to measure, so it will be sure to fit you perfectly and match your exact needs and requests. I will email you a detailed list of the measurements and information I need once you place the order. Elements may be customized.

• SHIPPING: 
If your wedding is less then 6 weeks way, please contact us before placing your order. I will use expedited Fedex shipping, that will deliver in about 3-4 workdays in most parts of the world. Please provide a physical address (not a P.O. box) and a phone number. If you wish to come to our atelier in person to try on dresses, do contact us and we can discuss details.
